Brenda Donald has over 30 years of senior management experience in the public and non-profit sectors with a particular expertise in the systems, policy, administrative, and strategy dimensions of human services, child welfare, and housing. She has served the District of Columbia in several leadership roles, including as Executive Director of the DC Housing Authority, Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services under two mayors, and Director of the District’s Child and Family Services Agency.

Beyond her service to the District of Columbia, Brenda has also served as Secretary of the Department of Human Services for the State of Maryland and Assistant City Manager for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. In the non-profit space, Brenda is the former Vice President for Systems Improvements at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. 

Brenda earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Science in journalism from The George Washington University.
