Environmental Quality & Sustainability partnered with PoliHire in their search for an Assistant Director. From stormwater management compliance to a comprehensive climate action plan, the office is committed to leading comprehensive efforts towards environmental stewardship, sustainability, resource conservation, environmental compliance, and environmental education with a focus on excellent, equitable service delivery.
The efforts of the search resulted in the appointment of Paul White II to the position. Paul is an environmental scientist who has held several roles within the City of Dallas, including time spent as the City’s Natural Resources Manager. Paul’s commitment to the environment and to municipal government service extends to his work with both the City of Irving, Texas and the City of Arlington, Texas.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Kentucky State University and a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from the University of Oklahoma. He is also a Certified Flood Plain Manage
